Anonymous aggregate metrics
The site counts page views, ten seconds of visible engagement, and clicks on official download options. It stores these as daily totals. Time spent in a hidden browser tab does not count as engagement.
The record includes the route, app, channel, button placement, and a broad source category. Search categories can identify Google, Bing, Brave, DuckDuckGo, Yandex, or another search provider. AI categories can identify ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini, Copilot, or another AI service.
The category is derived in the browser and sent without the full referrer. New measurement does not store a referring URL, search query, raw event payload, cookie ID, persistent visitor ID or device fingerprint. A source category is inferred from the browser referrer or an explicit campaign source. It does not show whether an AI service cited Osenpa.
Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals disable the browser-side measurement request. The site does not use advertising trackers.
Historical measurement data
An earlier first-party system stored pseudonymous request hashes and per-visit events. That historical database remains private so existing totals can still be read during the transition. New events are written only to the aggregate model. Historical visitor-level metrics are labeled as legacy measurement and are not mixed with new “unique visitor” claims.
First-party security events
To protect the private statistics route and measurement endpoints, Osenpa records a limited set of security events. Examples include blocked origins, rate limits, incorrect admin paths, and sign-in results.
A record can include a pseudonymous daily visitor hash, a user-agent hash, a redacted request path, the request method, and limited event details. It does not store the secret dashboard path. Security events are kept for up to 395 days. Short-lived rate-limit keys expire within 24 hours.
Technical request data
Like any website, the hosting service receives request information such as IP address, user agent, time and requested resource. Hosting logs are separate from Osenpa’s aggregate product metrics and first-party security events. The hosting provider retains those logs under its own operational settings.
Support messages
If you email Osenpa, your address and the information you send are used to respond and maintain necessary support history. Do not send passwords, private documents or unrelated sensitive information.
