This policy covers the Osenpa desktop apps listed below. Website statistics and Little Matches are covered by Website Privacy.
Osenpa Auto Clicker
Local processing and records
- Installed recording, editing, replay, matching, scheduling, import and export work without an internet connection.
- Profiles, templates, variables, subflows and workflow definitions are stored on the PC.
- Recorded actions, image and color checks, OCR scans and audio comparisons run locally.
- Profile import and export, JSON workflow transfer, CSV summaries, and text summaries create or read local files only when you choose those actions.
Network actions
- The app performs a read-only update status check against allowlisted Osenpa release data.
- When the Counter Reader OCR model is missing and you start setup, the app downloads and verifies that component.
- Screenshots, OCR text, audio samples and workflow data are not uploaded for automation.
Osenpa Clipboard Manager
Local processing and records
- History, search, organization and Clipboard Stack work without an internet connection.
- Regular clipboard history, indexes, pins and collections are stored on the PC.
- Locked Notes uses a separate encrypted store.
- File snapshots remain on local storage and consume disk space.
Network actions
- The app does not provide cloud sync or team sharing.
- Update metadata is checked at launch and every 12 hours while the app is running; the public Supporters list is also requested at launch.
- Store, download and support links leave the local workspace when selected.
- Update, supporter and selected-link requests contain no clipboard content. History, search and Clipboard Stack never upload clipboard data.
Just Converter
Local processing and records
- Installed conversion formats work without an internet connection.
- File checks, conversion, and temporary output processing run on the PC.
- Profiles, watch rules and JSON job data remain local.
- Conversion never uploads source files.
Network actions
- Update metadata and the public Supporters list are requested automatically when the app starts.
- Store, download and support links open when selected.
- Optional external components are installed separately and only for the documented workflow that needs them.
- When an input document references a remote resource, Pandoc requests that URL during conversion. Just Converter does not download media from URLs or YouTube.
Osenpa PDF Tools
Local processing and records
- Once installed, the PDF tools and any optional OCR or correction components work without an internet connection.
- PDF reading, document correction, page operations, conversion, compression and OCR processing run on the PC.
- Input and output files remain under the paths you choose.
- Installed OCR language data is stored locally.
Network actions
- The app checks update metadata automatically at startup and requests the public Supporters list when Support is opened.
- A selectable OCR language pack or the document-correction component is downloaded only when you choose to install it, then verified before use.
- Support and download links open only after you select them.
- PDF processing never uploads the document.
CiteFlow
Local processing and records
- Reading, notes, comparison, search, citation export and installed OCR work without an internet connection.
- PDFs, extracted text, indexes, notes and project metadata remain in the local workspace.
- Exact Search runs locally without a semantic model. Semantic Search runs locally after its optional model is installed.
- OCR runs locally after its managed component is installed.
Network actions
- Update metadata is checked automatically when due, with a six-hour interval; the public Supporters list is requested when Donate first opens.
- Optional model and OCR installers download only the files you select and check them before use.
- DOI auto-fill sends an entered or PDF-detected DOI to CrossRef, with OpenAlex and DataCite fallbacks when fields are missing. PDF auto-fill can also perform this lookup when it finds a DOI. Use manual entry when that query must stay private.
- Optional title translation sends the selected title through an automatic MyMemory, Google and LibreTranslate fallback chain, so more than one provider can receive it after a failure.
Osenpa Disk Analyzer
Local processing and records
- Scanning, filtering and cleanup work without an internet connection.
- File and folder inventory, indexes, filters and cleanup eligibility checks run on the PC.
- Disk scanning never uploads the file list.
- Protected or inaccessible items carry item-level reasons that disable deletion.
Network actions
- One update-metadata request and one public Supporters-list refresh start automatically on each launch.
- Selecting Google Search sends the selected full path as the query.
- Sanitize a private filename or path before choosing an online search.
File Timeline
Local processing and records
- Observed names, paths and activity records are stored locally.
- The observer does not read file contents, create thumbnails or copy your documents.
- Pause stops observation. Closing the panel is different from exiting the application.
- History retention is adjustable from four hours to 90 days; the default is 30 days. Clearing history does not delete the observed files.
Network actions
- Microsoft Store services check the app license and discover or deliver updates.
- Opening Support or the Store page opens an external service; the local file timeline is not uploaded as part of observation.
Folder Rules
Local processing and records
- Rules, watched folders and activity records are stored on the PC.
- File processing and supported archive extraction run locally.
- Recycle actions require explicit selection. They are not a permanent-delete fallback.
- Clear activity and Reset do not authorize deletion of user files or unresolved recovery data.
Network actions
- Microsoft Store services check entitlement and updates.
- Support and Store actions open their named external services. Rule processing does not send file contents to a cloud organizer.
Safe Merge
Local processing and records
- Source files are read and the result is generated on supported local storage.
- Originals remain by default. A selected conflict policy can leave a different, omitted variant at its source.
- Necessary recovery records are kept separately from disposable application storage. The current interface does not provide a general history or Restore screen.
Network actions
- Microsoft Store services check entitlement and updates.
- Opening Support or the Store page uses those external services. The merge itself does not upload files.
Clean Metadata
Local processing and records
- File reading, metadata processing and output verification run locally. Files are not uploaded for cleaning.
- Create clean copy keeps the original; an individually selected file with no removable metadata may need no new copy. Replace original is not secure deletion or a backup service.
- Local recovery records and protected temporary files can remain after an interrupted operation. Keep recovery data at the location shown until the issue is resolved.
- Fields needed to preserve content or behavior may remain, including image mapping coordinates or audio timing information in applicable files. Review retained information before sharing.
- Local History stores file names and paths, actions, outcomes and timings for up to five runs within seven days. Clear history removes those history entries, not output or recovery files. Diagnostic records exclude document contents.
Network actions
- Microsoft Store services handle app entitlement and Store updates.
- Support opens the Osenpa website. Opening a Store link uses Microsoft Store; neither action uploads selected files for metadata cleaning.
Make Smaller
Local processing and records
- File reading, compression and output verification run on your PC. Selected files are not uploaded for processing.
- Original files remain unchanged. Smaller copies are separate files; stopping a run does not delete copies already created.
- Recent results history keeps up to 10 completed runs from the last 30 days, including file names, paths, sizes, methods and outcomes. Clear history removes the displayed result records, not originals, smaller copies or recovery records.
- A separate local PDF decision cache stores content-derived hashes, sizes and processing decisions for up to 30 days, with a limit of 256 entries. It does not store source names, paths or file contents and is separate from visible history.
- Local processing can create temporary files and recovery records. Startup diagnostics can contain error messages and technical details, including paths mentioned in an error. Review any information before sending it to Support.
Network actions
- Microsoft Store services check app entitlement and provide Store updates.
- Support opens the Osenpa website. Store actions use Microsoft Store; compression itself does not upload the selected files.
Local files and shared devices
Local storage is not automatically encryption. Regular clipboard history, file paths, rules, notes and activity records can be sensitive. Protect your Windows account and backups, and use the app-specific clear, retention or pause controls where available. Removing an app does not necessarily remove exported files or recovery records.
File Timeline retention clears observations, not your documents. Safe Merge recovery records needed to protect user files are not disposable application history. Review app Help before manual cleanup.
External services and support
Microsoft handles Store accounts, payments, entitlement and Store updates under its own policies. Apps that open other services identify those actions above. If you send an email for help, Osenpa receives the message and attachments you choose to send. Do not send passwords, private documents or unrelated sensitive details.
