Security Notes

Local-first behavior, download channels, and release checks

Osenpa apps are presented as Windows desktop tools with clear download routes and visible VirusTotal links for the current public releases. This page summarizes what each app handles locally and what users should review before installing.

Quick answers

Before downloading: what should you verify?

Start with the marked official download channel, confirm the current public version, and use the linked VirusTotal report for standalone files. Osenpa product pages describe normal local workflows, while optional internet access may still support Store delivery, updates, support links, or user-requested resources. Product-specific data behavior and the verification sequence are documented in the two sections below.

Verification flow

Before downloading

Use the visible product, Downloads, Security, and Changelog links together before installing a public release. The goal is to confirm the source, release version, and scan report without relying on a hidden claim.

1. Channel

Start with the recommended route

Use Microsoft Store where it is marked recommended, or the highlighted direct EXE route when a product lists it.

2. Source

Open the matching download card

Compare the product name, version, installer or Portable ZIP label, and mirror route on the Downloads page.

3. Scan

Review the VirusTotal report

Use the linked report for the current public release before running a standalone installer or archive.

4. Version

Check the changelog

Confirm the latest public version and release notes before replacing an existing installation.

Automation

Osenpa Auto Clicker

Runs locally to simulate mouse and keyboard workflows. Because automation tools can trigger heuristic antivirus warnings, the product page links to Microsoft Store availability and the current VirusTotal report.

Clipboard

VeilClip

Stores clipboard history locally in SQLite and presents Locked Notes with AES-256-CBC encryption. The product page states that clipboard content is not sent to cloud sync, telemetry, or analytics.

Conversion

Just Converter

Converts files locally for media, image, HEIC, and PDF workflows. Large source files and output files can require extra local disk space during conversion.

PDF tools

Osenpa PDF Tools

Processes merge, split, organize, compress, convert, OCR, watermark, password, cleanup, and batch PDF workflows locally on Windows. Optional OCR language downloads start only when the user chooses them, and PDF contents are not uploaded for OCR.

Research

CiteFlow

Organizes research projects on the local Windows PC, including PDF reading, notes, citation-aware copying, bibliography output, OCR-ready workflows, metadata review, and translation support. CiteFlow 1.1.0 keeps the EXE installer on the same AppId as 1.0.2 so existing local project data remains on the supported upgrade path.

Disk analysis

Osenpa Disk Analyzer

Scans local drives, shows largest files first, and keeps personal files, Downloads, and modern browser profile cache/cookies out of automatic Free Space Now cleanup. Protected or locked items are guarded before deletion.
