What you need before creating the PDF
Each picture becomes a page image. The app JPEG-encodes the pictures and places them on white, so transparency is lost and non-JPEG sources undergo lossy conversion. Text visible inside a picture is still only a picture; run OCR afterward if readers need to search or copy it.

Open the created PDF and inspect its first, middle and last pages. Confirm that every source image appears once, in the intended order, with the correct orientation, margins and readable detail. Keep the original images until the PDF passes this check.

If pages are sideways, cropped or hard to read
Correct source orientation before rebuilding the PDF, then review fit, margins and page orientation. A multi-frame TIFF is not accepted as one input, so separate or convert its frames first. If small writing is unclear, use a higher-quality source rather than enlarging a low-resolution picture.
