Before you start
Close the game launcher, media editor or archive tool that uses the files and keep a backup of original work. A category filter groups likely matches by file and path clues. It cannot tell whether a file is active, backed up or the only copy.

Uninstall games through their launcher, remove managed media from its library and extract or archive bundles deliberately.
Rescan the affected volume
Measure actual free-space change and confirm no active library path was broken.
Classification traps
